How to Use a Temporary Email on Android
Use FreeTemp on an Android phone: copy the address, switch between apps without losing your inbox, and receive the verification code in your browser.
2 min read
FreeTemp runs in your phone browser, so there is nothing to install. The only trick on a phone is moving between the sign-up and your inbox without losing either.
What you need
- An Android phone with a browser such as Chrome.
Steps
- Open FreeTemp in your browser. Your address appears. Create the address there if the page asks you to complete the bot check.
- Tap the copy button.
- Open the website or app where you are signing up and paste into the email field. See how to paste the address if the paste option does not appear.
- Submit the form, then return to the FreeTemp tab: open your browser and switch tabs, or use the recent-apps button.
- Wait for the message. When it arrives, copy the code or open the confirmation link.
Common problems
- You came back and the page looks different. Check that the address shown is the one you used. If not, use the missing-email checklist.
- The inbox ran out of time. See what to do when the inbox expires.
