Verification & sign-up
Receive Verification Codes Without Your Personal Email
Get a verification code in seconds with a temporary inbox instead of your own. Steps, a worked example, and what to check if the code does not show.

To receive verification codes without your personal email, give the website a temporary address and read the code in a live inbox instead of your own. The code reaches you, your real address stays private, and nothing stays in your mailbox once the temporary one expires.
The steps, from start to finish
- Open FreeTemp and wait for the address to appear. Complete the bot check if one is shown.
- Press copy and paste the address into the email field of the website.
- Submit the form, then switch back to the FreeTemp tab and leave it open.
- When the message lands, FreeTemp shows a quick code with a copy button. Press it, return to the website, and paste the code.
- If the website sent a confirmation link instead of a code, FreeTemp lists the links it found in the message so you can open the right one.
A worked example
You want to try a free design tool that asks for an email. You copy a FreeTemp address, paste it into the form and press Continue. The website says a six-digit code was sent. Within seconds the code appears in the FreeTemp inbox, you copy it, paste it into the box, and your trial starts. Your personal inbox received nothing.
Time is the limit
A code often works for only a few minutes, and the inbox itself lasts 20 minutes by default. Two habits help.
Do not start the sign-up too early
Create the address when you are ready to fill the form. If you are close to the end of the 20 minutes, press +10 min before you submit.
Ask for a new code, not many codes
Pressing resend again and again can make a site block the request or send codes that cancel each other. Wait a minute first, then resend once.
If the code does not show
Check the address for typing mistakes, confirm the inbox has not expired, and wait a short moment. The full checklist is in why verification emails do not arrive. For how the service handles messages and privacy, read what is temporary email, the user guide and the FAQ.
Frequently asked questions
How fast does a verification code arrive?
It depends on the sending website. When the message is sent, it appears in the open FreeTemp inbox live, without refreshing the page.
What if the code expires before I type it?
Ask the website to send a new one. Codes usually have their own short lifetime, separate from the life of the inbox.
Can I reuse the same address for another sign-up?
Yes while the inbox is alive, but a fresh address for each site keeps messages easy to tell apart.
